KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT and Mechatronics Instructors at Lincoln College International play a crucial role in the growth and development of our students. You will:
- Deliver curriculum in person to students, with approximately 24 contact hours per week
- Design curriculum for hands-on classes (Mechatronics, Engineering, Robotics, or Digital Technology)
- Develop lesson plans and learning materials
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to the students
- Assess student progress and achievement in a variety of ways on a regular basis, providing reports as required
- Facilitate learning on mechatronics, robotics, and digital transformation technologies.
- Conduct practical demonstrations on PLCs, systems engineering, and electronic sub-assemblies.
- Guide learners through troubleshooting automated production lines.
- Develop and update curriculum to include the latest advancements in Industry 4.0.
- Assess student work, including practical projects and theoretical understanding
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Gross salary circa SAR18,500 / £3,900 per month (including housing and other allowances) TAX FREE
- 30 working days annual leave + KSA national holidays

Job requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, you MUST possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification to level 4 (working towards level 5 within 2 years)
- Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Experience in working within 3rd Millennium learning environments and with digital devices and peripherals, particularly CAM-controlled engineering machinery, including 3D printers
- Proven experience in working in partnership with other colleagues to design and deliver an integrated curriculum
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to robotics and automation (e.g., C/C++, Python, ladder logic).
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Familiarity with electronic assembly and troubleshooting
INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies: AI, VR, AR, blockchain, cybersecurity, and IoT.
- Practical experience with digital transformation initiatives in the manufacturing or defence technology sectors.
- Relevant industrial certifications.
L+T SKILLS
- Experience in delivering technical content both theoretically and practically.
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices
- Ability to design and implement problem-based learning scenarios that encourage critical thinking, problem solving and active student engagement.
- Ability to apply teaching strategies that facilitate student centred learning, mentoring student projects and providing feedback that promotes self assessment and reflection.
- Ability to create classroom environment that fosters collaboration and peer learning.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Relevant industrial certifications.
